The following article helps users troubleshoot screen sharing issues on a Mac device.
For Chrome browser users:
After clicking the “Share” button next to your audio/video settings in the QuadC classroom, you will be prompted to choose one of the following options.
Chrome tab: If this option is chosen, you should not encounter any issues with screen sharing.
Window: If you’ve chosen this option and are experiencing technical issues, refer to the steps below.
Entire Screen: If you’ve chosen this option and are experiencing technical issues, refer to the steps below.
When you try to share your screen during your QuadC session, you’ll be asked to enable Screen Recording for Google Chrome by your computer. This occurs in your computer settings page: System Preferences.
Go to your System Preferences.
Go to Security and Privacy
Go to the Screen Recording
Enable screen recording for Google Chrome and refresh your browser.
Quit and restart Chrome.
If the steps above do not resolve your technical issues with screen sharing, try the steps here:
Add or remove Google Chrome from your Security and Privacy settings and try the steps above again.
Restart your computer.
